Void a sale

Voiding reverses a whole sale: its stock goes back on the shelf, it stops counting in every report and on the VAT return, and a sale on credit comes off the customer’s balance. The sale itself is kept, marked Voided, with the reason. It cannot be undone.

Only the shop owner can void a sale. It works offline too, and reaches the shop’s other devices when they next sync.

If only some of the items came back, open the sale and tap “Return items” instead. Pick how many of each came back: the stock goes back, the money goes back the way it was paid, and a credit note prints for the customer.

1. Open Sales history and tap the sale.
2. Tap “Void this sale”.
3. Say why it is being voided, for example “Rung up twice”.
4. Tap “Void sale”. The sale now shows as Voided.
